![]() #BARSOOM DENTIST.GOOGLE.COMDR FULL#The Radiology Department provides a full spectrum of imaging services in digital diagnostic oral and dental radiography for patients of the Dublin Dental School and Hospital as well as for patients referred for radiological examinations from practitioners outside the hospital on an average of more than 25,000 examinations per year. The Oral Pathology division is concerned with the diagnosis of diseases of the oral cavity, head and neck region, including oral and nasopharyngeal mucosal diseases, salivary and gland disease, jaws, teeth, lymph nodes and soft tissue tumours. The Oral Medicine Department is concerned with diseases of the oral mucosa, particularly potentially malignant conditions, diseases of the salivary glands and with oral manifestations of systemic diseases. Sedation surgical facilities are available for the surgical management of those conditions possible under sedation. Joint clinics are held with Oral Medicine, Orthodontics, and Restorative as well as assessment for implanted zygomatic implant retained prostheses for oncology patients. An outpatient facility is available for the investigation and diagnosis of these diseases including biopsy. ![]() The Oral and Maxillofacial/Oral Surgery Department is concerned with the diagnosis, investigation and surgical treatment of oral, jaw, salivary and bony diseases of the oral cavity and head and neck. ![]() This division is responsible for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology and Human Disease. ![]()
